We've all been there.

We know. You don't want to make a fuss. And it might be you getting wound up about nothing. But someone is making you feel uncomfortable and you want it to stop. First of all it's best if you share it with someone you can trust to listen to you, be discreet and who will just quietly deal with it and sort it out so you can go back to enjoying choir feeling relaxed and safe.

The Committee has your back.

The Committee believes in being consistent and fair about the behaviour of members of The Cloudless Choir

Unacceptable behaviour means acting in a way that is unreasonable, regardless of the level of of someone's stress, frustration or anger. It may involve acts, words or physical gestures that could cause another person distress or discomfort.

We expect everyone in the choir to always:

>treat everyone with respect and courtesy

>engage with everyone in a way that does not hamper our ability to carry out our activities.

If you feel someone is behaving inappropriately

Speak to a Committee Member informally first so that the matter can be dealt with quietly and discreetly to minimise risk of causing further distress or confrontation.

Should the behaviour persist then the Committee will take positive action to formally warn the person whose behaviour is deemed unacceptable and if necessary require that person to discontinue attending choir activities.
